| Walk and Candlelight Vigil for Maisy and Shannon To commemorate one year since they disappeared Sunday September 6th, 2009 at 7:00pm in Kitigan Zibi, Quebec The Walk will start at Home Hardware and go straight through town on the main street to the river, then walk by Woodland school up to Nagishkodadiwin Park across from the Chateau Logue Hotel. We will end with an address from the following: Opening Prayer By Elder Pauline Decontie and song by KZ Women Drum Group (Biola Smith) Drumming by Eagle River Speakers: Chief Gilbert Whiteduck Pierre Hughes-Boisvenu, Association des Families de Personnes, Assassinees ou Disparues Hull-Aylmer MP Monsieur Marcel Proulx Craig Benjamin of Amnesty International Carole Brazeau- Quebec Native Women Inc. Jennifer Lord-Native Women's Association of Canada Miss Algonquin Nation Katrina Whiteduck Odjick & Alexander Families Light Candles and have a moment of silence Closing Prayer By Elder Pauline Decontie and song by KZ Women Drum Group (Biola Smith) Drumming by Eagle River Note: Candles and posters will be provided.
