Our billboard is finally up! Maisy's mom Laurie Odjick is the driving force behind getting this up! Please view our 'Thank
you' tab to see the complete list but for now we would like to thank our band, Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg, for donating the
poles, frame and worker's time. We also like to thank the workers, Clifford Tenasco, Adam Cayer, Norman Jacko and
Mark Roote. The billboard itself came from fundraising efforts. Great job, guys! We are now another step closer to our
goal of getting the word out to find answers. The billboard is located on highway 105 just as you are coming into Kitigan
Zibi,Quebec.

BUS AVAILABLE FOR SEARCH FROM OTTAWA, ON TO KITIGAN ZIBI, QC

Amnesty International is once again providing a bus for the search for Maisy and Shannon on Saturday October 23rd.
The are only 40 spaces available so please RSVP as soon as possible by sending an email to
mjacko@findmaisyandshannon.com. We are asking for a small voluntary contribution. More detailed information to
come.
MONDAY OCTOBER 18, 2010

Thank you to all volunteers coming to search on Saturday October 23, 2010.

All Volunteers should be dressed to search in wet areas and bring warm clothing and a walking stick if possible.
Water and snacks will be provided.

The bus will be leaving Amnesty International on
312 Laurier Ave East (at the corner of Russel) at 8am sharp on
October 23rd
. Volunteers should arrive at least 15 minutes early. Please ensure to bring identification and a
voluntary contribution to cover bus costs. Each person will be asked to fill out a Search and Rescue waiver form.
The bus is scheduled to leave Kitigan Zibi at 5:15pm on October 23rd and be in Ottawa around 7:00pm.
THURSDAY OCTOBER 7, 2010

REQUEST FOR SEARCHERS!!

Our third search with Search and Rescue Global 1 is on October 23rd, 2010 from 7am to 5pm. We are requesting
any and all healthy volunteers as we have a lot of land to cover.  Volunteers are asked to gather at the Cultural Center
across from the Home Hardware store on highway 105 in Kitigan Zibi, Quebec (1 and a half hour north of Ottawa,
ON). Volunteers are asked to be there at 7am for instruction and the first teams will leave at 7:30am. However we
expect the majority of volunteers to come at 8:30am.  Volunteers can arrive later as teams will be leaving all day to
different areas.   A spaghetti dinner along with snacks and drinks will be available for all volunteers. Please join our

We are planning a run in Kitigan Zibi to raise awareness and funds for the reward for Maisy and Shannon. Details are

6:45pm:     Opening prayer, Elder Pauline Decontie

6:50pm:     Kitigan Zibi Women’s and Little Turtles Drum Groups

7:00pm:     Speakers to include:

                  National Chief Shawn Atleo, Assembly of First Nations
                  Quebec Regional Chief, Ghislain Picard

7:45pm:     Candles will be lit followed by a moment of silence to
