| Call for Volunteers! Ottawa, ON 3rd Search for Maisy Odjick and Shannon Alexander Maisy Odjick and Shannon Alexander have been missing from Maniwaki, QC since September 2008. Please join us in a search led by Search and Rescue Global 1 (a non-profit organization). Saturday, May 2nd 2009 Kitigan Zibi, QC Bus leaving Ottawa at 7 AM from: Amnesty International Canada 312 Laurier Ave East Ottawa, ON K1N 1H9 Please be at the Amnesty office parking lot 15 minutes prior to departure. Bus will leave Kitigan Zibi at 3:30 PM (arrival in Ottawa around 6 PM) To reserve a seat on the bus, contact Sylvia at trublwithnormal@gmail.com . There are only about forty spaces, so please RSVP as soon as possible with your name and contact phone number. For more information, of if you have questions, please contact cbenjamin@amnesty.ca . This search is being organized and conducted by Search & Rescue Global 1 http://www.sarglobal1.ca/index.htm . They recommend that you wear appropriate clothing for the search (bring a hat, jacket and hiking boots or rubber boots. Please avoid wearing jeans or cotton). You must be 18 years old or older to participate and bring photo ID to register as a volunteer searcher. Volunteers will receive further information and instructions at the search location. Some food and drinks will be available for searchers. We also recommend that you bring a water bottle and snacks. |
